1. General Assembly THIS Thursday @5pm ~ Elections ~
As always, pizza will be ordered for everyone to share, we’ll be electing our new reps for the 2018-2019 school year some make sure you come and show your support!
2. Coffee hour TOMORROW @10am
I realized we missed our last coffee hour, so we’re adding one this week. Come join us for Alex and I’s last coffee hour of the year (we’ll include some sweet things to munch on). This is also a good time to buy your Gala tickets!!!
3. BGSA Volleyball team!
Egor is looking to put together a volleyball team this year with PGSS. If you want to play, email email@example.com. It’s $60 for the team and we’re looking a minimum of 6 people +++ backups, so it’ll be really cheap to play! All the games are out at the reservoir for the whole summer. Registration deadline is May 26th so let him know before then!
4. Spring Gala : Friday June 1st!!🌸
The Spring Gala will take place at Redpath Museum on June 1st 7PM-10PM. Come join us for a wonderful night of dressing fancy, music and beautiful exhibits.
Tickets are $25 including (a lot of) wine, non alcoholic beverages, and snacks, or $15 including non alcoholic beverages and snacks.

5. Neuroscience Career Panel: May 24th

6. MJM Scientific Writing Workshop
Join the McGill Journal of Medicine on May 24th at 5PM in room 521 of McIntyre Medical Building to learn about publishing, how to develop a narrative, and working through the writing and editing process. Food will be provided!
7. Freshwater Identification Workshop offered by l’Association des Biologistes du Quebec (ABQ)
ABQ is offering an Identification Workshop for small (and large) fish, crayfish, and freshwater mussels. The course takes place from 9am-4pm on Monday May 28th in Longueuil at the Sherbrooke University Campus.
