Happy Monday everyone! Thanks to everyone who came on the winter retreat! 34 years ago today, “We Are The World” was recorded by 45 stars including Cyndi Lauper and Huey Lewis; Country stars like Kenny Rogers and Willie Nelson; pop icons like Smokey Robinson, Tina Turner and Paul Simon; and musical giants like Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Bob Dylan.
1. Winter General Assembly
This semester’s general assembly will take place on THIS WEDNESDAY at 6PM in N7/1. As always, there will be pizza. The agenda and the proposed changes to the constitution (changes are in red) are attached. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to add to the agenda.
2. Coffee Hour
Coffee hour will be postponed to the second week of February, so see you all at the BGSA room February 13th 10am!
3. Department Day
Biology Department day is happening Friday, February 8th, from 10am-5pm in Thomson House. The day will include speed talks relating to work within the department, a student poster session, speed debates on hot topics in biology by profs, and an equity and diversity workshop. Lunch and coffee breaks will be provided.
