1. Winter General Assembly Recap
Thanks to everyone who came to the winter general assembly! Here is the new version of the constitution that was ratified.
2. Seminar Series Feedback
After Gregor’s email about seminar attendance, several people have raised concerns about the way the seminar series is run in general, so here’s a survey where you can share your thoughts. All results are anonymous and will be compiled into a report for both Gregor and the department’s General Assembly.
3. Department Day
Biology Department day is happening THIS FRIDAY, from 10am-5pm in Thomson House. The day will include speed talks relating to work within the department, a student poster session, speed debates on hot topics in biology by profs, and an equity and diversity workshop. Lunch and coffee breaks will be provided.

Coffee hour will be postponed to the second week of February, so see you all next week at the BGSA room February 13th 10am!

Looking ahead in the semester, we have another BGSA happy hour on March 20th where you can meet the candidates running for election for 2019-2020. Also, this year’s Spring Gala will take place on May 17th in the atrium of Bellini.
